DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_custom_heading text=”What a celebration!” font_container=”tag:h5|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]We held the 2023 Graduation of 80 students from Ahadi Empowerment Academy.  We celebrated with a large group of family and friends on October 8.  Caps\, gowns\, certificates\, cake and lots and lots of smiles!  Praise God for the completion of Tailoring and Design\, and Selah Beauty courses.   \nThe graduates were a special group of ladies with big dreams and plans for the future.  We sent them on their way with the special blessing of Psalm 57:2 “I cry out to the God Most High\, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.”[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”New Student Orientation” font_container=”tag:h5|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]Ahadi Empowerment Academy welcomed 101 new students October 10. \n59 new hairdressing and beauty students\, and 42 new tailoring and design students. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]What a celebration!  68 students graduated from the Empowerment programs such as Selah Beauty School\, Tailoring and Design\, and the Theology.  This event invited many family and friends of the students and we had a very large crowd.  We had an inspiring guest speaker\, Deborah the Head Health Officer of Nakuru/Gil Gil County.[/vc_column_text][vc_masonry_media_grid element_width=”6″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1668981366374-3ec5f47c-aff1-10″ include=”17960\,17961″][vc_column_text]The students were challenged and encouraged to make a masterpiece out of their lives from the skills and opportunities they received during their training at Ahadi Empowerment Academy. \nAfter the students received their graduation awards the celebration continued with the cap toss and cake cutting.  Graduation is one of our most favorite events at Ahadi Empowerment Academy. \nJoshua 1:9 \nHave not commanded you? SUMMARY:Kids Carnival 2022
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]School-aged boys and girls came to Ahadi for a day of games\, food\, fun and bible stories.  God blessed us with a beautiful sunny day and the 280 kids played hard\, danced\, sang and laughed as they watch the “Daniel in the Lion’s Den” Skit and learned the Hokey Pokey.[/vc_column_text][vc_masonry_media_grid grid_id=”vc_gid:1668982685593-27fdc265-36d1-6″ include=”17998\,18003\,17999\,18001\,18002\,18000″][vc_column_text]The kids were challenged with a lesson about Daniel\, and how to be brave and to always do what is right no matter what they face in life. \nThere’s nothing like hearing the laughter and seeing the wonderment in the face of a child that is such a blessing.  The kids were given gift bags full of treats and sweets as they headed home with huge smiles! \nMark 9:37 \nWhoever receives one such child in my name receives me\, and whoever receives me\, receives not me but him who sent me.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:"I Am Loved” Women’s Conference 2022

DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/6″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]The focus of this vision trip was on the ministry staff and the ministry leadership.  We had a good time and a God time.  We were blown away by the talent of our most recent student graduates showcasing their projects. They put on a great fashion show and shared a word from the Lord.  We also welcomed 75 new students into our beauty classes\, evangelism classes\, and tailoring classes.  Such an exciting time!  Some of our vision team performed new student health screenings\, spent time training in the Selah Beauty School\, and also were trained in sales and marketing out in the marketplace.  So fun! \nWe held a one-day conference for all the staff and a 2-day conference for the managers and department heads.  We shared goals\, strategies to be successful\, and what it means to be a spiritually mature leader.  We played games and received gifts and prizes\, as well enjoyed great food! \nWe are convinced that Ahadi has the BEST staff in the world![/vc_column_text][vc_masonry_media_grid element_width=”12″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1668904980581-1f8d15e3-ab12-1″ include=”17798\,17797\,17796″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/6″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:AHADI MEDICAL MISSION TRIP 2021
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]This team consisted of both medical and non-medical professionals. Together they accomplished a HUGE undertaking.  We kicked off our mission with a celebration of thanks and praise to the One who made this venture all possible. We first gave thanks and dedicated our brand new Health Clinic into the service of the Lord and then we got to work.[/vc_column_text][vc_masonry_media_grid grid_id=”vc_gid:1668905814803-f0ca2567-f859-6″ include=”17730\,17685\,17684″][vc_column_text]The Health team successfully performed health screenings on over 70 staff and students during our first week\, and then operated a health clinic\, seeing roughly 25 patients the second week.  The other half of the mission team managed to put into place an entire inventory labeling system and pharmacy supply system for the Health clinic.  They made it look easy\, but dedicated many hours to getting it done.[/vc_column_text][vc_masonry_media_grid grid_id=”vc_gid:1668905814804-f9c9d070-9e04-10″ include=”17672\,17703\,17702″][vc_column_text]Some of the team worked hard helping to construct a much needed expansion on the Kipepeo Mrembo Briquette project.  As a team we also hosted a 2 day Kids Carnival\, which was a such fun for roughly 140 community kids.  A 3 day/2 night Safari to the Maasai Mara was also included and was an experience of a lifetime.  The team participated in the monthly Ahadi Community Giving Back Program.  It involved going out into the community and visiting the home of an extremely impoverished family.  We were able to supply them with some basic needs such as food\, bedding and clothing for their 10 children. \nWhat a blessing! SUMMARY:WALK BY FAITH CONFERENCE 2019
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]4 days of non-stop fun\, fellowship\, and learning to live a life of faith in Jesus.  Over 150 women from the surrounding Kikopey Community\, came together to play games\, hear dynamic speakers\, worship\, participate in small group discussions\, pray together and spent time crafting.  Beauty makeovers and door prizes were a big hit.  Testimonies from the Ahadi students were powerful and encouraging. Over 150 girls ages 13-19 joined together for 3 days of beauty sessions\, crafts and small group time.  Each day themed differently\, but all focused on what God desires from us as young ladies. SUMMARY:CHEERFUL HEART CONFERENCE 2018
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text] \n\n\nWe kicked off our Cheerful Heart Conference in 2 different rounds.  Our first 3 day conference started on September 18th with 115 women\, our second 3 day conference started on September 26th with another 85 women.  This was the first time for Ahadi to host a conference\, and it was an overwhelming success.  Lives were changed\, spirits were lifted and hope was restored. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The ladies listened to inspiring testimonies\, heard moving teachings\, spent time in small group Bible study\, learned new crafts and had a good time participating in a variety of games. To say we had a good time would be understating what took place at each conference. The Ladies were taught on the principles of having a joyful heart during trials\, God working everything together for our good and His glory\, and the truth of our worth as daughters of the Most High King.[/vc_column_text][vc_masonry_media_grid grid_id=”vc_gid:1668907779950-1dcf03ba-7e6c-5″ include=”17368\,17369\,17370″][vc_column_text]We prayed together\, ate together\, worshipped together\, cried together\, and laughed together.
